As of October 2026, I have observed 262 species of birds, mostly while standing in bogs. You can keep up with my birding here. 

My favorite bird sighting is the Great Grey Owl (pictured below, Sax Zim Bog), but my favorite bird song is the song sparrow. More bird facts and opinions available on request.
